Our class looks great with all our beautiful Stained Glass Windows up.

As a further extension to this interest we made Stained Glass BISCUITS!

We were lucky to have a couple of parents come and help us. The biscuits looked amazing and were also delicious. Here are some pictures of the process that show how much we enjoyed the activity.

We would love you to come into class and see the windows for yourselves.

New Directions

Earlier this week the children viewed a picture of the Cardboard Cathedral in Christchurch.
They wanted to know more about it so we went on a virtual tour.

The children were fascinated with the stained glass windows, as many had never seen anything like it before.
We looked at more pictures online and have decided to have a go at making some simple ones in the classroom.
We will keep you posted.

Making Rockets

Here are a few snaps of our class with Room 19 making rockets. We had a lot of skills to practice so we are going to re-visit the experiment later next week.
